Honjo Postgraduate Scholarships For International Students - Japan





The Honjo International Scholarship Foundation is offering postgraduate scholarships for international students who wants to undertake a PhD or Masters program in any Japanese Institution.

This scholarship is provided to bright students who have the potential to become outstanding leaders to contribute to the peaceful development in the global community.

Eligibility

- Applicants must be International Students.

- Applicants must not possess a Japanese Citizenship.

- Applicants enrolled in a PhD Program must have been born after March 31, 1981. Those enrolled in a Master’s Program must have been born after March 31, 1986.



- Applicants must have employment in their home country after graduating from a graduate school.

- Applicants must be applying or applied to a Masters or PhD programme in any Japanese University.

Application Process

Download the "Guidelines for Application" found on the official website, and check to see if you are eligible.

Fill in the “Online Application” to obtain your application number. Your Application Number will be sent automatically to your email address that you confirmed on the Web Application. Please make a note of the number as you will need the number when results are announced.

Download all the applications in the official website and fill in the forms out in Japanese. (If your name or your current address cannot be translated into Japanese, please write these down in English)

Please make sure to write down your application number at the right corner of each form and send them to the Administration Office including all the required documents as stipulated in the Guideline for Application.

2017 / 2018 Australia Masters Awards Scholarships For 1,000 African Students




Australian Government’s development assistance program for Africa, provides Masters Scholarship for Africa Students.

There are two categories of Award: Australian Awards Scholarships, to undertake higher degree studies in Australia at Masters level. And Australia Awards Short Courses, to undertake short-term, targeted professional training courses, in Australia and/or in Africa.

The following Fields are available for this scholarship(varies by African country):

- Agriculture/Food Security
- Education
- Health
- Public Policy (including public sector management, public sector reform, trade, international diplomacy)
- Environmental Management
- Natural Resource Management (including mining related subjects)
- Technical and Vocational Education & Training (available for Short Courses only)
- Energy (including Natural Gas and Oil Technology)
- Infrastructure
- Natural Resource Management


- Transport (including Ports, Roads and Airports Management)

Eligibility

- Applicants must be Africans

- Applicants must be must be at least 25 and not more than 50 years of age at the date of your application.

- Applicants must have at least three (3) years’ relevant post graduate work experience. This work experience must be in a role relevant to your proposed field of study and to your employment organization type.

- Applicants must have a Bachelors degree (or the equivalent) from a recognized Institution of at least 4 years in length with at least a 3rd Class Pass.
